The Small and the Mighty, Revenge of the Tipping Point, and the Backyard Bird Chronicles. All were fantastic! I’ve been leaning into more non-fiction lately and I bought more of these books to give as gifts since they are so good! Highly recommend all 3.
Reading has been so much slower recently. I don’t know if it was from the election results or what, but when I get into bed, I just haven’t wanted to grab my kindle. Here’s to more reading soon!
Don Quixote keeps coming up in my life these days. I read it in Freshman Seminar way, way back. And the 5th graders at my school are learning about it in our new ELA curriculum?? 🤷♀️
Also, I didn't realize the NYT Bestseller list was around in early 1600s...haha!
I finished Louise Penny's The Grey Wolf (perfect post-election distraction) and am getting ready to dive into Kristen Hannah's The Women this weekend.
This whole year has been a journey back into reading for me. Audio, print and kindle. And for some reason October and November were slow for me. Likely too much doom scrolling!
But I finished “A Discovery of Witches” on audio after like 5 weeks and then started and finish “The Women” in like a week!
I’m still working through “The Witches Daughter” on my kindle. I can’t figure out why I’m not that into it but also don’t want to DNF.

I finally read James. And yes, it is as incredible and amazing as everyone says it is!
My husband and I are reading Don Quixote in 2025 as part of a group slow read. I feels daunting to me, so thanks for your fun note about it.
