Let’s not bury the lede here. I loved May the Wolf Die, our companion to James Patterson’s Along Came A Spider for The First Books Book Club - Crime. So, imagine my delight after I shared my praise on Instagram when my agent Sharon rolled into my DM to tell me she also represented the author Elizabeth Heider!
Of course, I immediately asked if she’d connect me with Elizabeth, who you will see if the absolutely loveliest. Elizabeth really wanted to come to book club but that is 2am her time, an understandable excuse if there ever was one. Instead, Elizabeth and I sat down to talk about Nikki Serefina, Naples, the pursuit of justice, and theories of control.
